Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge
Established in 1974, this 1,117 acre wildlife refuge features a diverse variety of plant and animal life. Beach grass and other unique grass species exist here, as well as many bird species, gray seals and harbor seals. Natural history tours of the area are offered during peak season (the summer months) that are approximately 2.5 hours in duration. Reservations are required.
